Joe Redding

Dark Americana/Outlaw Country

Joe Redding breaks conventions, styles and traditions by breathing new life into a stagnant genre of music. Influenced by the sounds of Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, Redding writes songs that are lyrically grounded in the darker aspects of the human experience. His fiery lyrics are brought to life by his raw, gritty baritone voice – which at times ascends into higher registers – revealing his passion for the heavy hitting, outlaw style of folk/country music that he came to love as a young man living in the Catskill Mountains.

"Redding navigates a dark, winding road through crumbling Americana soundscapes... Politically charged and emotionally bold"
